State Representatives Announce Grant Awarded to Erie Downtown Partnership

State Representatives Bob Merski and Pat Harkins announced this week that a grant is coming from the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission that will help preserve the character and history of Erie’s landscape.

The $22,500 project planning grant awarded to the Erie Downtown Partnership comes from the Keystone Historic Preservation Grant Program,

The funds will allow the Erie Downtown Partnership to develop design guidelines for the city’s 14-block core that ensure developers understand the significance of defining features so progress can happen without destroying well-loved landmarks and features from Erie’s past.
