The average cost of a gallon of gas in Pennsylvania has gone up in the last week.
According to Triple-A, the statewide gas price average is now at $2.36 a gallon, which is five cents higher than last week, 15 cents higher than last month, but still 48 cents lower than where it was last year.
The average price of a gallon of unleaded self-serve gasoline in erie county is 2.44 a gallon.
The national average is 19 cents more expensive than a month ago, but it is till significantly cheaper – 53 cents – than a year ago.
