A woman is rescued from Wintergreen Gorge in Harborcreek Monday evening after a search that lasted more than three hours.
The search began around 4:45 pm near Norcross Road, then moved to Penn State Behrend near the engineering building.
The woman, who is in her 20s, was more than 3 miles into the gorge when she slipped on a rock.
Multiple emergency crews from around the area joined the search on foot and on ATV.
The woman was retreived around 8 P.M.
She suffered minor injuries to her knee, and was taken to UPMC Hamot.
