Part of Downing Avenue will be the site of repair work for several days, after A large water main break closed part of the street.
Erie Water Works and its contractor are in the process of repairing Downing Avenue between East 12th and east 18th.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area and be aware of traffic delays.
Road repairs are estimated to be completed by the end of next week, July 10.
Erie Water Works says Water service to customers should not be affected during the repair.
