A student-athlete in the Fairview School District has tested positive for Covid-19.
That’s according to a letter sent to Fairview district families by superintendent Dr. Erik Kincade.
The student, who has not been identified, was informed of the test results Monday. according to the letter, the student completed self-quarantine for the recommended number of days.
The Erie County Department of Health says it has gotten in touch with all of the students who may have had contact.
The team on which the athlete plays was not identified.
