The North East Community Fair is the latest event to fall victim to Covid-19.
Fair Board President Rodney Blystone III announced Tuesday that the fair has been canceled due to COVID-19 and restrictions on public gatherings in the state.
The fair had been scheduled for Sept. 17-19.
Non-perishable items meant to be entered in this year’s fair can be entered in the 2021 fair. Entries completed by September 22nd, 2019, will be accepted for next year’s event, which is tentatively scheduled for September 16 through the 18th.
