Erie High School and Erie County Technical School to Receive CARES Funding

Erie High School and Erie County Technical School are on track to receive nearly 299 thousand dollars in federal funding to help both schools resume instruction while keeping students and staff safe.

The grants were announced by State Representatives Bob Merski and Pat Harkins this week.

The funding comes from the CARES Act.

The funds may be used for a variety of resources, including protective equipment, hand sanitizer and cleaning products; equipment or technology to take classrooms online; and the purchase health apps to assist in contact tracing and monitoring of students.
