Employees of Twinbrook Healthcare and Rehabilitation held a candlelight vigil in front of the facility last night.
The event was helt to honor residents who have died of COVID-19.
Nineteen Twinbrook residents have died from COVID-19 complications. at the vigil, employees called on Twinbrook’s owner, guardian healthcare, and the state government to better protect workers and residents.
Twinbrook workers are demanding that Guardian follow their own guidelines for COVID-19 management, provide enough proper PPE to all workers, maintain safe staffing levels, and pay a living wage.
