PA Restaurants Can Increase Indoor Seating Capacity Later this Month

Governor Tom Wolf announced tuesday that restaurants in Pennsylvania may begin increasing their indoor occupancy to 50% starting later this month, but first they must go through a self-certification process.

While that’s certainly good news to restaurant operators, visiterie says it’s important to remember the following points:

The food requirement is still in place; bars will be open for sit-down meals at tables, but there will be no bar service.

Last call for alcohol will be 10 pm

Events will still be capped at 25 people indoors.

The occupancy increase can start on September 21st.
