Governor Wolf Announces State Will Begin Amending Venue Gathering Limits

Governor Wolf has announced that the state will be amending venue gathering limits beginning this Friday.

The amended orders employ a sliding scale that will permit much larger crowds at many events, including school sporting events during the fall season.

The new rules limit attendance to 37 hundred 50 people for the largest indoor spaces and 75 hundred for the largest outdoor venues.

According to the Governor’s Office, the “amended orders will allow for venue occupancy limits to play a bigger role in determining the number of people permitted both inside and outside of events or gatherings.”
