Funds Headed to the Area to Help Local EMS Companies

More than 230 thousand dollars is headed to the area to help local EMS companies.

Emergycare and ten other companies will split the funds. state representative Ryan Bizzarro says it’s expected the funds will be used for operational costs such as utilities, fuel, and personal protective equipment.

The money comes from a COVID-19 response program.

also, Representatives Bob Merski and Pat Harkins have announced more than 97 thousand dollars in fire grants, which will also help ems companies meet expenses.
