PA Coronavirus Cases Continue to Rise

The number of positive coronavirus cases continues to rise in Pennsylvania, as does the number of counties that bear close watching. that’s according to the latest information from Governor Wolf’s office and the State Department of Health.

Statewide, the percentage of positive tests rose to 3.9% over the past week, up from 3.4% during the previous 7-day period. In the previous week, the positive rate went from 3.2% to 3.7%.

The governor’s office also listed 14 counties to watch for COVID-19 cases. Erie is not among the 14 counties, instead falling into the category of counties with a “moderate level of transmission”.
