State Police charged an erie man who was shot by troopers Sunday morning following a car chase.
Police say troopers tried to stop a car driven by 19 year old Marquelle Goodwine in the northbound lanes of I-79 around 9:30 am Sunday. Goodwine then reportedly led police on a chase into Millcreek before running from his car on Lindberg Avenue.
When police tried to stop Goodwine with a taser, he allegedly pulled a gun. that’s when troopers shot him in the arm. Goodwine was treated at the scene and taken into custody.
Charges against Goodwine include firearms not to be carried without a license, receiving stolen property, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer and speeding
