According to the Erie County department of health, there were 41 new cases of covid-19 in the county, the highest single-day total since August 4th.
The new cases bring Erie County's total COVID-19 cases to 2054. Of that total, 1831 have recovered, 54 have died and 169 cases remain active.
The cases ranged from children to elderly with most of the cases being people in their 30s to mid-40s.
