It all started around 8:30 last night, when officers reponded to a shots fired call on cherry street. Police saw a vehicle fleeing the scene, and pursued it.
The chase came an end at the intersection of 38th and Glenwood Park Avenue, when the driver ditched his car and fled on foot
Officers apprehended the man after a brief foot chase.
Police say a passenger in the vehicle also tried to get away, but police apprehended him, and recovered two guns in the process.
