Election Day Information

Today is election day, which includes of course America’s choice of president, in one of the most hotly contested races any of us can remember.

Polls opened at 7 a.m., and will close at 8 p.m. If you are in line when the polls close, you are entitled to vote.

If you have voted at your polling location before, you do not need to bring ID to vote. voters who are voting for the first time in their election district will need to show ID.

If you signed up for a mail-in ballot, but are choosing to vote at a local place, you will need to bring both your mail-in or absentee ballot AND the outer return envelope to your polling place.
