The Girard School District has announced that Girard High School and Rice Avenue Middle School will be closed for the remainder of the week due to COVID-19.
A Girard High School staff member and a Rice Avenue Middle School student have both tested positive for the virus.
High school and middle school students will learn remotely through the HIVE for the rest of the week.
All extracurricular activities have also been canceled.
In-person classes will resume Monday, November 9th.
