PA Nearly Ready to Distribute Covid Vaccine when Approved

Pennsylvania announced Thursday it’s nearly ready to distribute and administer thousands of doses of COVID-19 vaccine per day, with the first dosages going to health care workers and possibly seniors living in long-term care facilities.

The state will do so under a federally-approved plan using one or more vaccines expected to soon receive emergency use approval from the federal government, according to state health secretary Dr. Rachel Levine. She had no exact timetable for distribution.
