The cleanup continues all around the area following Sunday’s severe storms and damaging winds.
Presque Isle State Park was closed Monday after flooding and high winds caused severe damage there. It’s expected that clean up work at Presque Isle will continue into next week.
Park management remains concerned about trees coming down and visitor’s general safety at Presque Isle.
Residents of the Kelso beach area, where some homeowners had to leave because of flooding Sunday, were still dealing with roads underwater as of last night.
Residents also have to deal with driftwood and debris, which could be found all over yards and roadways.
