No one does a rewatch podcast better than Zach Braff and Donald Faison. On their Scrubs podcast Fake Doctors, Real Friends, they share their triumphs and tribulations in Hollywood, their favorite jokes from the show, their behind-the-scenes memories (which can range from poignant to puerile), and bring on guests like creator Bill Lawrence, co-star Sarah Chalke, guest stars like Richard Kind, or writers like Gabrielle Allan Greenberg. Plus, they’re just a lot of fun: Since they’re best friends in real life, their casual banter is second to none, full of hilarious ribbing, adorable supportive bonding, fake threats, ridiculous nicknames, and spirited debates about pop culture. Even a non-Scrubs fan can get in on this.

In this episode, any Scrubs fan will love their conversation about the introduction of Elizabeth Banks, the real reason the Janitor is mopping carpet, their excitement about the actual footage of their passion project Dr. Acula, and if pregnant women really have those crazy mood swings. But anyone can enjoy their many hilarious tangents into the effectiveness of HOV lanes, whether or not Canadian Mounties always show up on horses, and if either of them have cried after sex. Donald’s horror that Zach has never seen Lost Boys leads him into a rendition of “Thou Shall Not Fall” and an anecdote about his boy band days.

And thanks to the show’s popularity, they have great call-in guests, like the urologist Dr. Brick. It doesn’t take a lot of prompting for Donald and Zach to come up with questions about the most precious pieces of their anatomy, so a hilarious but also very educational conversation ensues where they pepper the good doctor with questions about whether two men can impregnate one woman, if there’s a such thing as a penis reduction (and would anyone actually want one), if it’s dangerous to take erectile dysfunction medication if you don’t need it, and so much more. If you want to laugh until you cry, get a fun theme song jingle stuck in your head for life, and feel like real friends with a couple of Fake Doctors, you won’t be able to get enough of this show.
