EF2 Tornado Hits Erie County, No Injuries Reported

An EF2 tornado with wind speeds reaching 115 mph struck eastern Erie County, Pennsylvania, on Monday, causing significant damage but no reported injuries or fatalities. The tornado touched down at 5:49 PM EDT, just northwest of Wattsburg. The National Weather Service in Cleveland confirmed the tornado's path and intensity after a site survey on Tuesday.

The tornado caused destruction in Venango Township, demolishing several barns and damaging homes. Debris was scattered hundreds of yards, and metal was found wrapped around tree branches. While no human deaths, two horses were killed, and several cows were lost.

Residents are advised to remain vigilant as cleanup efforts continue. The National Weather Service continues to monitor the situation and provide updates on any further severe weather threats in the area.
