The head of the United Nations is urging the U.S. and China to avoid a new 'Cold War'.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres says U.S.-China relations are "completely dysfunctional", telling the Associated Press "Unfortunately, we have only confrontation".

He say a new Cold War would be "more dangerous and more difficult to manage".
